Sheffield Hallam welcomes applications from international school students taking the International Baccalaureate Diploma and those achieving 28 points or more will usually be successful in obtaining an offer of a place on our undergraduate programmes.

Suitable if you have a foundation degree, HND or equivalent in accounting or finance, this course gives you a broad understanding of both accounting and finance within the business environment, suitable for a wide range of careers and allowing you to build on previous studies and experience.

We introduce the main principles of accounting and we will also familiarise you with the business environment companies work in, then deepen understanding of the role and scope of finance. We use a balanced approach between theory and practice to understand both accounting and finance from different perspectives using teaching staff who have worked in industry and practice.
