To ensure that graduates are fully prepared for life after university, the course includes modules specifically designed to help them better fit into modern creative workplaces. The ‘Freelance Animation’ unit teaches a range of transferable project management and presentation skills, while the optional ‘Freelance Animation’ unit helps students develop an understanding of basic business practises and theories.
Students will bring their concepts to life using our industry-standard animation facilities - learning the full production process from first draft storyboarding to advanced filmmaking techniques.
This three year programme also gives students the time and support necessary to create a varied professional portfolio that’s perfectly suited to securing paid positions after graduation.
Our in-house creative agency provides students with the chance to pitch for paid work with commercial clients – past Solent Creative clients include Bear Grylls, the BBC, Southampton Airport and Southampton City Council.
