English majors frequently become certified in Secondary Education; others take positions in journalism, editing and publication, advertising, or corporate work; or go on to graduate school in English or to law school.
As a major, you can also simultaneously complete a minor in Creative Writing or Workplace Writing. Each major concentration – as well as program minors – emphasizes the close study of texts, including written, visual, digital, and cultural texts.
