Course Information

The Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) program is perfect for those students who want to combine their interest in psychology with studies in other areas. In addition to covering the core areas in psychology, this program develops your communication and personal skills, as well as your creativity, capacity for independent thought, adaptability to new situations and problem-solving skills.

The Bachelor of Laws provides students with a broad progressive legal education with a strong practical orientation to the law. Students develop skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, research, communication, collaboration, self-management, and ethical and professional awareness and judgement. Students will also develop skills in legal advocacy, negotiation, and legal technology and extend their professional and learning experiences through work integrated learning, clinical placement and international exchange engagements.

Western’s law programs are a unique alternative to more traditional law schools, with community law activities that give you real world experience. Since 2010, the School of Law has operated the Parramatta Community Justice Clinic, providing a much-needed service, while giving students a unique clinical legal learning opportunity.
