Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements:

  • Completed application

  • Financial/Bank Statement in English showing at least U.S. $21,000 for one year of study

    • The Financial/Bank Statement may include checking or savings accounts, stocks, certificates of deposit, or other easily liquidated assets. Please indicate the relationships between sponsor and the student on the bank statement.

  • Copy of valid passport; and Medical Release Form

  • Applicants must be 16 years of age by program start date

English Requirements:

  • TOEFL 61/173/500 or higher on the international TOEFL or the iBT Special Home Edition while TOEFL testing centers are closed during the COVID-19 pandemic

  • IELTS 5.5 no band lower than 5.0

Course Information

Students who successfully complete this program will be able to:

CAREER & TECHNICAL

Earn Credentials for Employment

Programs in this track are designed to help students acquire practical accounting skills so they can enter the workforce. In as little as one quarter, students can attain certification in basic entry-level accounting clerk skills.

The graduate of the full two-year program will be well-prepared for employment and advancement in accounting and business fields.

In general, courses in the Career and Technical Education track are not transferable to universities. However, Green River graduates may be able to transfer their two-year AAA-Accounting degree to Bellevue College’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Accounting degree program.
