You will be encouraged from the outset to think critically, enabling you to analyse and interpret real-life business issues in order to devise solutions, helping to prepare you for your career in accountancy, financial services, or management.
You will also have the opportunity to develop your interpersonal skills including communication, leadership and teamworking, to become more adaptable and resilient to change. You will be taught by leading academics who are well connected with industry and able to combine cutting-edge theory with real-world practice. We have well-established links with accountancy firms, investment banks and renowned national and international employers such as JP Morgan and EY. In your final year, the module Critical Issues in Management will enable you to integrate what you have learned throughout your studies, enhance your knowledge through the introduction of new concepts, and apply your skills to a range of real-life case studies.
You will also have the opportunity to extend your degree to four years with a placement year studying abroad or working in the UK or overseas.
