Ancient and Medieval History explores and examines civilisations that may appear distant but remain influential even today, and studying this three-year BA degree opens up a range of exciting career opportunities by helping you develop skills, which are highly valued by employers.

You’ll have the chance to explore the change from the emergence of Athenian democracy to the glories of renaissance Italy; the expansion of the Roman Empire to the Christian crusades of the Middle Ages; and the great epics of Homer to the sublime poetry of Dante
