Admission Requirements

Entry Requirement

To be eligible for admission, students need to complete successfully the equivalent of Australian year 11 standard education and be at least 17 years of age at the commencement of the Foundation Program.

*Minimum GPA requirements must be met (4.5 or higher for Degree entry and 2.0 or higher for diploma entry)

English Requirement

  • IELTS: overall 5.5; writing 5.0; speaking 5.0; 

  • TOEFL: overall 52*; writing 17; speaking 15

  • Pearson: overall 36, writing 29; speaking 29

  • Duolingo: overall 90; writing 80; speaking 80

  • Aspire placement test: C1

​Other Requirement

  • CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL EXAMINATIONS OR EDEXCEL GCE: Successful completion with a minimum pass in four subjects; or minimum pass in 2 or 3 O-Level subjects plus 1 A-Level subject with a grade “E” or above

  • BTEC, CERTIFICATE IV: Successful completion of BTEC National 3 Extended Certificate or BTEC Firsts Level 2 Diploma in business or related area

Course Information

The Foundation Program is a practical qualification which prepares students for employment, and further education and training.

This program is designed for students who would like entry into an Aspire undergraduate diploma program, leading to a bachelor degree, but have not completed high school year 12 or equivalent. It is also suitable for students who would like an introductory program before tackling a full diploma.
