  • 6.0 overall, with no component below 5.5

TOEFL Internet Based Test

  • 80 overall with a minimum of 17 in listening, 18 in reading, 20 in speaking and 17 in writing

Pearson’s Test of Academic English

  • 56 overall with a minimum of 51 in each component

Cambridge C2 Proficiency (formerly Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE))

  • 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component

Cambridge B2 First (formerly Cambridge English First (FCE)) 

  • 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component

Cambridge C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English Advanced (CAE))

  • 169 overall with a minimum of 162 in each component

Trinity Integrated Skills Test (ISE)

  • ISEII, ISEIII, ISEIV with a pass in each component

Other Requirements

Our entry requirements indicate both Standard and Minimum qualifications with which we normally accept students. Competition for places varies from year to year and you aren't guaranteed a place if you meet the minimum qualifications.

You may be given an adjusted offer of entry if you meet our specified minimum entry requirements within our widening participation criteria, and outlined in our Contextual Admissions Policy. 

A Level

BCC

GCSE grade C/4 in English.

GCSE Maths recommended.

Irish Leaving Certificate

Pre-2017 Grading System:

B1, B1, B3, B3 at Higher Level and grade C2 in Ordinary Level Maths and English.

New Grading System:

H2, H2, H3, H3 at Higher Level and grade O4 in Ordinary Level Maths and English.

BTEC (QCF) Extended Diploma Level 3

Minimum grades DMM (Distinction, Merit, Merit).

GCSE grade C/4 in English.

GCSE Maths recommended.

International Baccalaureate Diploma

Award of Diploma with 28 points overall with three HL subjects at grades 6, 5, 4.

Grade 4 in SL Maths and English.

European Baccalaureate

Pass at 70% or above with grade 7 in three subjects.

Grade 6 in Maths and English.

Scottish HNC

Other HNC subjects may be considered for year 1 entry where a B in the graded unit is achieved.

HNC

Pass HNC in Administration and IT, Business, Human Resource Management, Management (not Retail), Marketing or Marketing Communication with grade B at SCQF level 7 in the graded unit.

Our Business Management with Entrepreneurship course combines a broad range of academic theory in the area of business management with the latest applied thinking in the field of entrepreneurship.

This course provides modules that give you real-world experience and the option to undertake a work placement.

This will prepare you for a range of projects and careers with small, medium and large employers, or for venturing out on your own.
