  • IELTS Academic 6.0 overall, This must include a minimum of 5.5 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

  • TOEFL iBT, A total of 72, to include a minimum 18 in Reading, 17 in Listening, 20 in Speaking, and 17 in Writing.

  • PTE Level B2, This must include a minimum of 51 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

  • LanguageCert Intenational ESOL, We accept the LanguageCert International ESOL with an overall B2 Communicator Pass.

  • IELTS, Please note, IELTS tests are valid for two years only for immigration purposes.

  • Undergraduate entry: IELTS 6.0. For visa nationals this must include a minimum of 5.5 in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing.

 

 

Course Information

We teach you the critical, technical and aesthetic skills necessary to become a professional graphic communicator: designer, typographer, illustrator, or image­maker. You’ll discover the varied and complex nature of design practice.

Our aim is that you’ll graduate as a strategic thinker, innovator and maker, having produced creative and challenging outcomes across a range of media or within your chosen specialist area.

Explore art and design through an integrated Foundation year before you progress onto your chosen BA (Hons) degree.

Undergraduate degrees at Bath School of Art and Design are available as three-year or four-year programmes. Four-year degrees include either an integrated Foundation year or a professional placement year.

We want to ensure that you reach your full potential. That's why we've devised an intensive and experimental Foundation course that develops your art and design abilities in relation to contemporary practice, and introduces you to our exceptional facilities and staff.

You'll enhance your drawing skills, and explore the many materials and processes encountered in art and design practice. As the year progresses, you'll begin to specialise in your chosen discipline, acquiring advanced skills and knowledge in preparation for continued study.
