Admission Requirements

Entry requirements:

  • High school graduation

  • A minimum grade point average of 2.0 (60%) calculated on English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 and two academic Grade 12 courses

    • Students who have completed 30 credits or a 30-credit credential may be considered for admission into year two of the program but must complete ABA 100, 101, 200 and 201.

    • Students who have completed an Associate of Arts or Science, 60 credits, or a 60-credit credential plus documentation of at least 300 hours of BCBA-supervised ABA experience may be considered for admission into year three of the program and will be deemed to have met the requirements of ABA 100, 101, 200 and 201.

Program Highlights

The Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis – Autism is a highly sought after and unique degree.

Build the specialized skills to work with children, youth and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). 

In the program, you'll train in many key areas, including behaviour principles, assessments and applications, supporting individuals with ASD and their families, assessment and intervention planning for children with ASD and using applied behaviour analysis with adults who have ASD and other developmental disabilities. 

You'll also take part in three different supervised practicum placements to help you gain on the job experience before graduation.

Program graduates are eligible to sit for the exam immediately to become Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA).
