For most courses at Charles Sturt University, you can meet the English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements by doing one of the following:
providing evidence of having completed a sufficient standard of study in English
obtaining Academic IELTS within the last 2 years, with a minimum overall score of 6 and no individual score below 5.5
obtaining a qualification deemed to be equivalent to Academic IELTS (and its minimum scores) by Charles Sturt.
Other Requirement
A completed High School Certificate (or equivalent) with an ATAR of at least 60 (including adjustment factors).
OR
Successful completion of at least two Bachelor degree level subjects (or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) equivalent) or higher in any discipline.
OR
A completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Certificate III or higher, studied at a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent.
OR
A completed Tertiary Preparation Certificate (TPC) or bridging program studied at a TAFE, Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or University, or equivalent.
OR
Partial completion of a Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma, of at least 50% from a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation (RTO), or equivalent.
OR
Work experience of at least two years full time equivalence duration with some elements of management or supervision demonstrated by a detailed resume.
This specialisation allows you to pursue a career in middle management in industry and commerce. As a graduate, you will apply specialist knowledge and skills to coordinate activities and resources in an organisation to achieve strategic goals. This course will prepare you for all aspects of business operations and the development of specific on-the-job skills. An optimum blend of theory and practice is offered, with a combination of subjects equipping you with soft skills for working with people, and the hard skills directed at areas such as economics, law, operations, project management, strategy, change management and international management. The Bachelor of Business (Management) also gives you the opportunity to specialise in a second area by enrolling in a joint study. Choose from a wide range of options such as accounting, marketing, finance, information systems, legal studies or even non-business areas such as organisational communication and public relations, psychology or sociology.
