Course Information

Holmesglen's Bachelor of Hospitality Management (BHM) is a three-year degree for those aspiring to a career in hospitality management. The course provides operational and higher level management skills, contextualised for hospitality.

Students are challenged to collaborate and integrate technology, producing graduates who are confident in today's dynamic workplace. Students get the opportunity to put their learning into practice with two placement opportunities in the final year of study.

The range of options open to our graduates is enormous, from positions in major hotels, resorts, commercial catering operations, to restaurants and events management organisations. There are also abundant opportunities for graduates to establish their own businesses.

Hospitality is a world-wide industry; it is increasing its professionalism, requiring higher level qualifications from its workforce. Our Bachelor of Hospitality Management creates graduates ready to take on tomorrow's jobs.

Work placements/Internships
The one prescribed elective in the final year of study involves a minimum 80-hour work-based placement. Students can apply for an internship as a double credit-point prescribed elective in the final semester of study.
