The Bachelor of Information Technology (Business Information Systems) examines - with a strong emphasis on electronic commerce - the organizational and technological issues that are needed for the analysis and design of business information systems. The program provides a state-of-the-art program that considers modern principles and theories of computing together with the practical applications of technology. It provides students with the appropriate knowledge, skills, and values to be effective in modern business environments.
Throughout the program, you will become familiar with the latest developments in IT, and understand the different types of information technology tools and their applications. You will develop an understanding of the organizational settings in which information systems are used, and recognize the threats and opportunities of technology in business. An understanding of the role of modern information systems in society and business is also developed.
