Course Information

Nursing plays a key role in health services across the world, and registered nurses work in a wide variety of settings. The Bachelor of Nursing equips graduates with the key knowledge and skills necessary for the practice of registered nursing.

Students who successfully complete 6 trimesters of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) graduate with a Bachelor of Nursing and are eligible to apply to become a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). The course gives graduates an appreciation of the value of life-long learning and a firm foundation for further study at a postgraduate level. Units are offered in all three trimesters allowing students to complete the course in two calendar years if they wish.
