Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • An international application for admission.
  • Official secondary school transcripts identifying subjects taken, marks received and graduation date.
  • Official transcripts with subjects and marks received from any colleges or universities attended.
  • Certified, literal translations of all credentials issued in any language other than English.
  • Undergraduate applicants who have no previous work at the post-secondary level must have at least a 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from a secondary school.

English requirements

  • TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 70.
  • Completion of the University of Idaho American Language and Culture Program.
  • SAT evidence based reading & writing with a minimum score of 550. (SAT Taken March 2016 and After)
  • Duolingo English Test minimum score of 100
  • Completion from Lewis-Clark State College Institute of Intensive English Bridge Program.
  • Spokane College of English Language (SCEL), pass of Level 140
  • IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum score of 6.0.
  • Pearson (PTE) Academic with a score of 48
  • ELS Language Centers with a pass of Level 112
  • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English with a pass.
  • Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English with a pass.
  • Cambridge International "O" Levels with a pass.
  • Michigan English Language Assessment Battery with a score of 74.

Course Information

When you teach business and marketing, you help put students a step ahead in their lives and careers with important skills in time and money management, project planning, effective communication, modern technologies, and other areas.

In this program, you will explore the latest methods, techniques and instructional tools used to teach business, marketing, and business technology subjects at the high-school or post-secondary level. Choose courses ranging from accounting and economics; to web design and public speaking; to marketing and business management.

Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible for Idaho secondary teacher certification with endorsements in business technology, marketing technology, and economics.
