Madonna University’s Criminal Justice undergraduate degree programs have been at the forefront of preparing students for a wide variety of rewarding vital roles in public service. Through academic work, service learning, and internships, students learn essential modern-day criminal justice best practices and gain a confident grasp of professionalism, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and decision making.
Each of the program offerings provide knowledge and skills that develop students into confident, prepared, and community-focused professionals that promote excellence and leadership in their quest to protect and better the lives of those around them.
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Criminal Justice program helps students build expertise in legal process, human motivation, community relations, ethics, and investigative methods to ensure they have the well-rounded foundation for future professional success as leaders in the field. The major consists of 45 credits in addition to general education requirements. Additionally, the following Certificates of Completion are available to enhance the bachelor’s degree: Homeland Security, Private Security, Private Investigation, Animal Cruelty Investigation, Spanish for Law Enforcement, Forensic Psychology, or Forensic Accounting.
