A Pass in English at the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent qualifications.
To cover all key elements of the curriculum in a year, the Cambridge International Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced Level (Intensive) is an intensive course taken after the completion of the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE). This course is ideally designed for international students who are ready for an accelerated and rigorous advanced study to prepare for university and higher education.
The curriculum of this course aims to enhance the learners’ knowledge, understanding and skills in in-depth subject content, independent thinking, handling and evaluating different types of information source, thinking logically and presenting ordered and coherent arguments, making judgements, recommendations and decisions, as well as presenting reasoned explanations, understanding implications and communicating them clearly and logically. In addition, this course comprises of four (4) core subjects which constitute General Paper, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and one (1) elective subject in Accounting, Business or Economics.
At the end of the one year, students will be fully prepared to sit for the Cambridge International AS and A Level Examinations. Widely recognised, these qualifications heighten the students’ chances of seeking admission to leading universities both locally and globally.
