Deakin Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarship offers a 100% or 50% tuition fee reduction for the normal duration of your course, acceptance into Deakin's signature leadership program, and priority place in on-campus accommodation (at own cost and subject to availability).
Deakin International Scholarship offers 25% tuition fee reduction for the normal duration of your course.
Both scholarships recognise high-achieving students with consistently high academic performance who have the potential to make a leading contribution to the University and its communities.
Australian Government scholarships
Australian Government scholarships are available to students in certain countries in the Asia–Pacific region. These scholarships are for full-time study in Australia towards an undergraduate, postgraduate or technical degree, and cover:
- a return airfare to Australia
- academic and other compulsory fees
- basic health insurance
- establishment allowance
- a living allowance.
To be able to apply for an Australian Government scholarship, your home country must be on the list of participating countries and your course of study must match up with a priority area for your home country. Priority areas differ per country.
Endeavour scholarships:
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships offer support to international students to study, research or take part in professional development in Australia. All recipients will receive:
- a travel allowance of $3000
- an establishment allowance of $2000 (fellowships) or $4000 (scholarships)
- a monthly stipend of $3000
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- payment of tuition fees (up to the maximum study/research duration on a pro-rata basis), including any student service and amenities fees.
To apply for an Endeavour Scholarship or Fellowship, you must be from one of the participating countries or regions.
Deakin STEM scholarships
The Deakin Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship is a 20 percent scholarship for international students applying for undergraduate, postgraduate coursework within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment.
All students who apply for eligible courses will be automatically assessed for the scholarship.
