Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • The Spring international application deadline is Dec. 12
  • The Fall international application deadline is Aug. 2
    • Had an average GPA of 3.59 and an average combined Evidence Based Reading and Math SAT score of 1239 (ACT equivalent 26)

English requirements

  • A minimum TOEFL score of 550 on the paper version of the test, 213 on the computer-based version or a 79-80 on the internet-based version. IELTS minimum score: 6.5.
  • Freshman applicants may waive the TOEFL, IELTS exam if their secondary institution provides written verification that the means of instruction is in English, they are enrolled in an IB curriculum, attend an American School or enrolled in a curriculum that leads to Cambridge International Examinations: IGCSE/O-Level and GCE/A level exam.

Course Information

Degree Pathways are a sample semester-by-semester sequence of courses which might be followed for successful completion of a degree, diploma, credential or certificate from the university.

  • Economics

Total Minimum Credits = 120

For students who entered fall 2018 and beyond:

  • Students majoring in Economics must maintain at least a 2.2 grade point average (GPA) overall and at least a 2.0 GPA in their Economics courses.

No more than two Breadth of Knowledge courses can be taken with the same prefix. The Core Curriculum courses may be taken in any sequence. Refer to the Core Curriculum policy for further details. You should meet with your faculty advisor to determine how you will meet the Core Curriculum requirements.
