The English for Academic Purposes program can be your pathway to your undergraduate or postgraduate degree at James Cook University or your ticket to a new opportunity.
If you don’t have the required level of English, this program can help you. EAP can be studied at four different levels, and your entry level is determined by your current level of English and your chosen university course. This program prepares you for your undergraduate course, and will help you present information, express concepts and ideas, exchange opinions and research material in English.
EAP is taught in intensive courses, with 20 contact-hours per week (full-time) for 10 weeks at each level.
