Geneva Business School provides Swiss-quality business education in Geneva, Barcelona, and Madrid. In the beginning, the focus was on providing training and professional development for bankers in Switzerland. Founder Professor Francis Kahn was approached by leading Swiss banks to create an intensive course for bank employees. The banks paid for the courses and the participants had to achieve a passing grade and owed their employers two years of fidelity after attaining their diploma.

Our spectacular Barcelona campus is located in a beautifully renovated 19th-century building in the refined Eixample district, right off of Passeig de Gracià, the city’s most iconic architectural and commercial avenue.
The campus combines classic Catalan architecture with modern facilities. This also includes an elegant terrace, complete with table-top games and a barbecue area, for students to unwind between classes and enjoy the idyllic Barcelona weather.

Our current faculty have excellent academic credentials and, for this reason, many leave their offices and busineses to teach students at GBS, before returning later in the day to their regular working lives.
INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATIONS
GBS combines the US system for accreditation and quality control, the European (Bologna) system for credits (ECTS) and the Swiss grading system. The numerous international accreditations that GBS holds, allows the transfer of credits and ensures that GBS is in line with the quality-control benchmarks of other high-quality business schools around the world.
GLOBAL NETWORK
Our head office is based in Geneva, but we have other GBS campuses and partner campuses around the world. There is also an exchange program, giving students the possibility to transfer between our main campuses for a semester, allowing for a truly international experience. There are over 60 nationalities currently represented.
