For any program level, a minimum of three years of full-time study at the secondary school level in an English language school system in a country where English is considered the primary language, or the primary language of instruction and evaluation is English, with acceptable grades in all English courses.
For any program level, a minimum of two full years of successful study in an accredited university degree program or two full years of successful study in an accredited college diploma program in a country OR in a postsecondary institution where English is the primary language of instruction.

Sample Composition
Applicants will submit a sample of their original composed work (any style) in recorded and written form (score or lead sheet) that evidences musical competence.
Humber’s Music Composition graduate certificate program prepares you to write music for a number of professional environments that include, but are not limited to, live performance, sound recording, film, television and radio productions, commercials, and webisodes. In this online program, you will be paired with a professional composer or songwriter who will mentor you as you compose original music and expand your portfolio. Composers of all genres of music are welcome, as this program is tailored to meet the needs of your project. You’ll receive expert feedback in order to refine your skills, establish industry connections and understand the wide range of industry uses for composed music.
