Navitas Family Bursaries

Navitas offers financial support in the form of family bursaries. A bursary applies where two or more students from the same family study with a Navitas member institution. The bursary is equivalent to 10 per cent of the tuition fee for up to 8 units of study within one program only.

The Family bursaries are offered to students studying at ACBT, BCUIC, Curtin College, Curtin Singapore, CRIC, Deakin College, Deakin College Indonesia, Edith Cowan College, Eynesbury, FIC, Griffith College, HIC, ICM, ICP, ICRGU, The College, Swansea University, La Trobe Melbourne, La Trobe University Sydney Campus, LBIC, Navitas at FAU, Navitas at UMass Boston, Navitas at UMass Dartmouth, Navitas at UMass Lowell, Navitas at UNH, NIC, PUIC, SAIBT, SIBT, UC College, UCIC, Western Sydney University International College, and Western Sydney University Sydney City Campus only.

The Navitas bursary is not applicable to any English language programme or any component of an English language programme offered by a Navitas member institution.

Navitas Academic Merit Scholarships

Navitas is committed to helping you achieve your career goals by offering scholarships to outstanding students. Each term, Navitas colleges award two students with academic merit scholarships.

The scholarships are one academic semester or part thereof (equivalent to the maximum of up to five academic subjects) for a Navitas Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree (Australia), UTP Stage II or Associate Degree (Canada), UPP or IUTP (USA) or Undergraduate pathway program (UK) at a Navitas college or one academic semester of foundation or undergraduate study at La Trobe University Sydney Campus, Curtin University Sydney, Curtin Singapore or Macquarie City Campus or one academic semester of a Master's program at Curtin University Sydney, Curtin Singapore or Macquarie City Campus.

Any additional costs, including travel or material such as books or equipment required as part of programme will be the recipients responsibility. For programmes that articulate directly into a university degree programme, the scholarship will cover only the Navitas member institute components of the programme for the semester.

Students of The College will have a dedicated residence on the Bay Campus, a short walk from the teaching building, and will be housed with other students of The College. From September, students will live in one of the recently built Swansea University halls, with a choice of standard or premium en suite rooms, before moving to The College's own hall of residence in January.

Ensuite Room

All rooms are equipped with a small double bed (known as 3/4 bed), a bedside chest, desk, chair, bookshelf, and storage for clothes as well as an ensuite with shower, toilet and wash hand basin. In addition, the room features blackout curtains, a pin-board and mirror. You will have access to a shared kitchen and a number of communal facilities.

Premium Ensuite Room

This room offer a larger room than the standard, a full double bed, plus an armchair and a drawer unit. As per the standard room specification, it has a bedside chest, desk, chair, bookshelf and storage for clothes as well as blackout curtains, a pin-board and mirror. You will have access to a shared kitchen and a number of communal facilities.

Communal Facilities

Rooms are arranged in flats of 4+ bedrooms, each having a Common Room with large screen TV and a large kitchen. All kitchens are equipped with cooker, hob, sink, microwave, kettle and fridge/freezer. Shared flats (4+ bedrooms) also have a breakfast bar and stools, coffee table and sofa. Please note that cutlery, crockery, and containers for separating residents’ food in fridges are not supplied. All rooms are self-catered. In addition to a kitchen, there is a Tesco Express on campus and a range of catering and bar services on offer across Bay Campus.
