Why Roehampton Vale Campus

The Roehampton Vale campus is designed to provide teaching rooms and laboratories exclusively for engineering students. This engineering focus gives it a real sense of community.

The modern and well-equipped laboratories here – including specialist computer-aided design labs and an automotive engineering lab – add real-life experience to our students' studies.

The laboratories house industry-standard test and experimental equipment for metrology, robotics, rapid prototyping, fatigue and quality control. Other on-campus facilities include seminar and lecture rooms (equipped with multimedia facilities), a student canteen and a graduate centre.

The facilities at Roehampton Vale were improved in 2010, with the installation of a 190-person lecture theatre; a 60-person computer room; and shower facilities for cyclists.

Packed full of high-tech labs and specialist equipment, Roehampton Vale is about four miles (6.4km) from Kingston town centre and only five minutes from our Kingston Hill campus on the University bus.
