High School Graduate
No TOPIK require
Sufficient funds to cover tuition and living expenses in Korea

Course Information

  • The Korean language program at Woosong University offers courses from beginner to advanced, helping international students develop comprehensively 4 skills: listening - speaking - reading - writing.
  • The curriculum is designed according to the standard framework for Korean language training for international students, integrating Korean culture, communication skills and TOPIK test preparation.
  • Students study at the language center of <strong>Sol Korean Language Center</strong> - Woosong campus in Daejeon, Korea.
  • Study time: 20 weeks/semester
  • Enrollment:4 semesters/year - March, June, September, December
  • Class size: Small, maximum 15 students
  • Dormitory available, D-4 visa support

The course consists of 6 levels from beginner to advanced, divided into 4 skills: Listening - Speaking - Reading - Writing.

  • Each level lasts 10 weeks (total 200 hours of study)
  • Total 20 weeks/term
  • Entrance exam for class placement
  • At the end of each level, there is a test to assess ability
  • There is a TOPIK exam preparation class for students who want to take the exam to get a certificate

Career Opportunity

After completing the Korean language program, students can:

  •  Apply to undergraduate and graduate programs at Woosong or other schools in Korea
  •  Apply for a D-2 visa after completing the program
  • With a high level of Korean (TOPIK 4 or higher), there is an opportunity to apply for a scholarship or work part-time during the main course
  • After completing the course, you can continue to study a major or work as a language teaching assistant
