Entry requirements

  • a completed online general application
  • official transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended that contributed in earning the Bachelor’s degree:
    • Official transcripts and certificates (with notarized translations into English where appropriate) from all colleges and universities attended.
  • a statement of purpose
  • two letters of recommendation.

English requirements

  • TOEFL of 79 (La Verne Code 4381) exam results sent directly from the testing agency to the University of La Verne;
  • IELTS of 6.5, sent directly from the testing agency to the University of La Verne;
  • Duolingo English Test of 100; or
  • Completion of level 112 at ELS Language Centers in the Intensive program

Course Information

For experienced working professionals looking to earn a Master’s in Business Administration at a time and place that works for them, La Verne’s MBA for Experienced Professionals degree is an excellent fit. The program is tailored to those with at least three years of experience who want to take the next step toward leadership positions in their careers.

To provide maximum convenience and flexibility, the program is offered online and is available at several locations throughout California, including La Verne, Bakersfield, Burbank, College of the Canyons, Irvine, Ontario, Oxnard, and Victorville, as well as at Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB) and Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC).

Concentrations

The MBA for Experienced Professionals helps students learn relevant skills and apply them in their workplace. The University of La Verne offers eight concentrations so students can receive a graduate education tailored to their field, including:

  • accounting;
  • finance;
  • information technology;
  • international business;
  • management and leadership;
  • marketing;
  • supply chain management; and
  • health services management.

Outcomes

The MBA for Experienced Professionals program educates and develops future business leaders with management theory and real-world applications. While pursuing the degree, students gain solid communication, teamwork, and leadership skills from faculty with diverse business backgrounds.
