Admission to the Master of Science in Medicine (Advanced) (Sexual and Reproductive Health) requires:
completion of the requirements for the Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health); and
an average mark of at least 75% in 24 credit points of compulsory and/or stream units of study; and
any other requirements as stated by the Faculty at the time of application.
IELTS Academic: A minimum result of 7.0 overall and a minimum result of 6.5 in each band
TOEFL iBT: A minimum result of 96 overall including a minimum result of 20 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 22 in Writing
PTE Academic: A minimum result of 68 overall and a minimum result of 61 in each band
This course builds on the knowledge you've gained during the Master of Science in Medicine (Sexual and Reproductive Health), allowing high-achieving students to plan and carry out a supervised research project.
In this advanced stream, students complete a research project in an area of specific interest to them and their master's degree. On completion of the advanced project, students will be able to plan and execute a substantial research project and prepare a scholarly work which may be a paper for publication.
Students must first complete the requirements of the master's program.
