Course Information

Our Medical Radiography program trains individuals in X-ray imaging. Students are trained in areas of computed tomography (CT), fluoroscopy, OR imaging, emergency/trauma, interventional procedures and mammography. It’s a dynamic, fast-paced career rooted in helping people from all walks of life, where no two patients’ needs are the same.

Level 3 is a 16 week clinical rotation combined with a weekly academic time of one day for self-directed online didactic requirements.

Level 4 (18 weeks) - January to May

Career opportunities

Most careers begin with casual, entry-level positions in hospitals and private clinics. Salaries start at approximately $28 per hour. Opportunities include:

  • Certified X-ray technologist/general radiographer

  • Equipment sales

  • Education and teaching positions
