MCCC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
The MCCC Foundation offers a variety of privately funded scholarships.
MCCC S-STEM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (SAMS) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ADVANCING MERCER STEM STUDENTS
Mercer County Community College (MCCC), supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF), is pleased to announce the establishment of an S-STEM Scholarship Program (Scholarships for Advancing Mercer STEM Students (SAMS)).
This five year, $600,000 program is designed to provide scholarships to financially needy STEM majors (biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, engineering, technology, or math) and support these students for two years in acquiring their associate's degrees and/or facilitating their transfer to four-year institutions for continued STEM studies.
THE NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION ROBERT NOYCE STEM SCHOLARSHIP
The Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program seeks to encourage talented undergraduate science and mathematics majors to become K-12 mathematics and science teachers.
The program provides funds to institutions of higher education to support scholarships, stipends, and academic programs for undergraduate science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) majors who commit to teaching in high-need K-12 school districts.
Eligible Mercer students can start preparing for transfer to William Paterson University as Robert Noyce scholars. While at Mercer, selected students will be supported with advisement, activities, and professional development.
