The programme entry requirements are as follows:
Applicants must hold a Graduate Diploma in another specialist area of nursing or have obtained 30 ECT (credits) at NQAI Level 9 (Masters Level at both research and theoretical aspects of nursing)
Other criteria to be used in the assessment of the application include number of years of experience, and evidence of ongoing professional development
Specialist Requirements:
Candidates must be employed in the clinical environment caring for people with dermatology conditions prior to commencing the course and for the duration of the course
Candidates who are not employed full time in a dermatology setting are advised to secure clinical exposure in order to achieve all learning outcomes
Taught Master's: A minimum overall score of 7.0 over all components and a minimum of 6.0 in each band on the Academic Version. The non-academic version is not accepted.
Research Programmes: A minimum overall score of 6.5 is required.
Taught Master's: A minimum score of 100 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with a score of at least 20 in each section.
Research Programmes: A minimum score of 90 is required in the Internet based TOEFL (iBT) with a score of at least 20 in each section.
English language examinations administered by the University of Cambridge: 185+ on Cambridge English scale (with no less than 175 in each skill and use of English)
Acceptable Examinations:
Proficiency Certificate, Grade C (i.e. CEFR Level C1 or C2)
Advanced Certificate, Grade C (i.e. CEFR Level C1 or C2)
Minimum of 65 and at least 59 for each item.

UCD has approved the use of the Duolingo Test of English (DET) for the 2021/2022 intake. A DET score of 120 will be accepted as an equivalent for IELTS overall score of 7.0.
Please note that this does not apply to the CEMS MiM / MSc in International Management. In the case of the CEMS MiM the Duolingo English Test will not be accepted.
The Masters of Public Administration in Development Practice (MPA-DP) is a two-year fulltime programme that offers professional trans-disciplinary graduate degree training that addresses the challenges of sustainable development through a blend of rigorous academic courses and practical engagements. The MPA-DP is delivered by staff from all faculties across the university, in collaboration with leading scientific researchers, and national and international organisations with specialist skills.
The goal of this programme is to produce rounded development practitioners with a deep understanding of scientific methods and techniques to reduce global poverty, in addition to extensive on-the-ground training with international organisations. The MPA in Development Practice is rooted in evidence that effective public policy must be based science-based. Course offerings include a blend of traditional class-room based modules and two internships including one in an internatinal organisation.

Research design, methodology, and methods
Sector analysis
Students also produce a dissertation on a specialist research area of their choice.
