When you study at Navitas English, you can take advantage of our student support services. We have advice and counselling services, pastoral care and online learning resources to make sure you are doing well inside and outside the school environment.
Each Navitas English school has a prayer room, student lounges, computers for you to use and free WiFi.
These student support services are there to make your stay in Australia as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.
Orientation
On day one of your course you will participate in an orientation program, where you will meet your student services team and your teachers.
We will explain everything you need to know about studying at Navitas English – including our ‘English Only’ school policy and our Code of Conduct. We will also talk about special services and deals for you as a Navitas English student, such as Boomerang activities, travel discounts and gym memberships.
Basically, we will give you all the information you need to settle into your school and adjust to life in Australia.
24 hour emergency helpline
If you need help, you can contact Navitas English at any time on our 24 hour emergency helpline for students. Just call 1800 NAVITAS (1800 6284827).
Counselling
If you need support or advice during your time at Navitas English, you can talk to your teacher or to one of our counsellors.
Our academic and welfare counsellors can help you with:
- general advice and support for day-to-day concerns
- academic counselling, including advice on your English studies, pathways, further study applications and applications for English language tests.
If you feel stressed or worried about your studies or any other part of your life, please let us know. We want you to enjoy your time in Australia and achieve your English language goals, and we can help.
Support for pathway students
Are you planning to study at university or college in Australia? If you’re a General English pathway student, your teachers will meet with you in your first week to give you guidance about your language studies.
They will talk to you about:
- developing the right language skills for university
- mproving your Academic English
- choosing the right electives
- study tips
- your teachers.
- If you’re studying an Academic English course, you will also have:
- one-on-one tutorials with your teacher for your assignments
- advice from academic counsellors on pathways, partner institutions and programs
- access to myStudy space, where you can connect with your teachers and Academic English alumni on a digital social network
- individual needs analysis interviews and study plans
- the same teacher for every lesson of each 10-week course to make you’re your studies are continuous and cohesive.
Learning support - myStudy space
- All students can access myStudy space, the Navitas English online learning portal. On myStudy space you can:
- connect with your classmates and students from other Navitas English schools
- extend your learning with resource materials for your course and your individual needs, from anywhere with internet access.

If you have any questions or problems, you can always speak to the student services team at your school. Our student services teams are there to help you at any point during your course.
