Offers conditional on English are either for:
the STANDARD entry level – IELTS 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any element (or equivalent)
or
the HIGHER entry level – IELTS 7.0 overall with no less than 6.5 in any element (or equivalent)

Imperial College London considers test scores to be valid for 2 years. Scores must be valid at the beginning of your Pre-sessional English course at Imperial if your application is successful.
Our blended 6-week and 3-week pre-sessional English courses have now moved online for distance learning. Our online courses are specifically designed for postgraduate students studying science, technology, engineering, maths or medicine (STEMM) at Imperial.
They deliver the same academic content as our face-to-face courses and are full- time and intensive.
