Seattle Central College - Main Campus

• Annual Scholarships are available for all new and returning Seattle Central students. Applications for the 2019-20 Academic Year will be available beginning Feb. 15, 2019.
• Emergency Funding supports students with funding to overcome a financial emergency. Applications are reviewed weekly. 
• The Commitment Scholarship assists with full tuition and fees for current students who enroll in 12+ credits, maintain a 3.0 GPA, are first-time degree seekers and demonstrate financial need. by the last day of the quarter to be considered for the following quarter.
• The Seattle Promise scholarship offers two years of free tuition to graduating Garfield High School seniors. The application for the 2019 Garfield senior class is due Feb. 15, 2019

Due to its location in downtown Seattle, Seattle Central has many convenient housing options for international students. Please see the corresponding links in the left navigation bar for complete details. Students and parents should consider the following when selecting a housing option:

- It is recommended students and parents plan ahead and make housing arrangements as early as possible, no later than 6 weeks before the first day of the quarter.

- Students who are under the age of 18 are generally not allowed to sign a lease for an apartment in the State of Washington.

- It is strongly recommended that students who are 16 or 17 live with a host family.

- Students who are 17 or older have the option of staying at Seattle Central’s on-campus apartments,

- Students and parents / legal guardians are responsible for making housing decisions and arrangements. Seattle Central provides resources to assist with finding housing, but cannot make housing arrangements for applicants, nor monitor individual living arrangements.
