-Client projects

Every year more than 100 companies benefit from sponsoring one of our student projects.

A group of UAL students are invited to respond to a client brief, under the supervision of experienced academic staff and practitioners.

The project is often embedded within the curriculum. It offers students real-life commercial experience as part of their degree. The sponsoring company can enjoy free-flowing creative ideas to refined production ready concepts, depending on the brief. Our partners can get new products, service ideas or lively PR out of the projects and our students get to find out how the industry works – it’s a win-win.

UAL has a wealth of event sponsorship opportunities as well as a youth associated brand that is out on its own.

+ Highline Building

Highline Building is a brand new development and is a short walk from London's Southbank.

+ Manna Ash House

Located just south of the river Thames, close to Central London and convenient for students at all UAL Colleges.

Please note that this hall will not be on the UAL portfolio after the academic year 2018/19.

+ Portland House

The freshly refurbished Georgian town houses of Portland House provides a historical setting in a convenient location.

+ Sketch House

Sketch House is located in Finsbury Park and offers a unique range of facilities including a courtyard.

+ Wigram House

Wigram House is a beautiful Victorian mansion block with high-spec, modern facilities inside. It is located in the heart of central London.

+ Will Wyatt Court

Situated in the vibrant and trendy area of Old Street, Will Wyatt Court provides easy access to Central London.

• Private accommodation: The information on these pages will guide you through the process of finding a new home, moving in and out and help you with any problems you may encounter.

+ If you are new to London it’s a good idea to visit the city before moving here to find an area you would like to live in.

+ You will need to do some research before looking for a room, flat or house to rent from a private landlord.

+ It’s essential that you view the accommodation before you pay any money to make sure you like it and the offer is genuine.

+ As a UAL student you are entitled to make use of the University of London Housing Services (ULHS). They offer a range of services for students looking for private accommodation.

• Presessional accommodation: At UAL we want you to feel at home whilst you study with us.

If you are new to the UK, we recommend staying in our halls of residence to get yourself familiar with London before you explore further options. If you are familiar with the UK, our halls are still the best environment to start your student social life at UAL.
