Course Information

Earn a personalized Visual Arts diploma, built to your interests as a future creative professional.

In your first year, you lay the groundwork for building core artistic skills. Through study in drawing, material process, and space, form and time, you build a repertoire of techniques and experience that prepares you for more advanced course work.

You can build your studies to suit your desired skills, choosing from a curated array of courses in six studio disciplines.

In your second year, you grow your command of art history through the critical study of modern and contemporary pieces ranging from Indigenous art to Renaissance classics.

No matter what discipline you choose to study, well-designed studios, dynamic faculty, and a dedicated community network make UFV Fine Arts a highly supportive environment for studying the creative arts.
