Music Production
Music Production is the main focus of this course and you will be producing several different tracks during the course. All different genres and production techniques will be covered to ensure you can make the sound you have always wanted to achieve.
No matter what your musical tastes are are well will show you the tools and techniques you will need to make your music sound the way you’ve always wanted it to sound. You will produce several of your own during the course.
Performance
Music performance is a integral part of the modern producers creative cycle, and we will show you how to get your tracks performance ready as well as how to incorporate hardware and controllers to help you put your personal touch on your performance.
Mixing
We will provide you with mixing techniques that will enable you to lift the sound quality of your tracks to the level of the artists you love, using both software and boutique hardware in an analog studio.
Remix
Bring your own creativity to a pre-existing track! The remix collaboration is a staple of the electronic music industry and a powerful pathway to new audiences.
Sound Design
Sound for screen and gaming is a booming industry that requires all sorts of fun and interesting sounds to be created.
In addition to the topics above, the Diploma of Music Industry (EMP) will explore working in the creative industry and how to set your self up as a freelancer, with several assessments including group work that will teach you the soft skills to get you ahead in your chosen profession. We also have real-world industry projects from radio stations, animation- and post production-houses that we incorporate into the class activities.
