A $250 security deposit is required of all new applicants. Renewals (returning residents) are not required to pay the security deposit fee, as their current deposit on-file will carry over between years throughout their stay. New applicants are also required to pay a non-refundable $100 application fee. This fee is waived for returning residents. If a new applicant withdraws from Centennial College – or is not accepted to Centennial College – their $100 application fee to Centennial Place is considered forfeit.
Students with physical or sensory disabilities who wish to apply for an accessible room are asked to note this in their Online Application, or by sending a written request to the Leasing Team at centennialresidence@studenthousing.com or by calling 416-438-2216 x6281, and should provide supporting documentation of their needs.
If you have any accessible needs, you may consider registering with the Centre for Accessible Learning and Counselling Services.

Residence Community Handbook
In Residence, students want to feel secure and supported. To this end, Centennial Place has developed a Residence Community Handbook to supplement the policies of the Residence Agreement. This Handbook outlines further policies and procedures which residents and staff should follow to ensure an environment in which all community members feel welcomed and their needs tended to. Some important policies noted in the Handbook include expectations of residents with regard to cleanliness, noise, guests, and smoking (which is strictly prohibited at Centennial Place, and on Centennial College property). Other important sections outline how residents should respond during an emergency, effective fire safety practices, and who to contact should they need immediate supports.
