Murdoch University was formally established in 1973 by an Act of the Western Australian Parliament to meet the growing higher education needs of the community. Murdoch is a truly international, research-led university full of free thinking students. The university’s main campus is set in a beautiful bush environment and covers over 227 hectares, making it one of the largest campuses in Australia.
