This program is available only to applicants with an Ontario college credential from a Paralegal program accredited by the Law Society of Ontario.
*Please note: This is a three-year Ontario College Advanced Diploma; we are currently only offering the final year of the three-year advanced diploma.
All applicants to Loyalist whose first language is not English, or whose previous education was in another language, will be expected to provide an English proficiency assessment for admissions approval.

***The Duolingo English Test is an online English proficiency test that can be taken online, on-demand, in under an hour. The test is taken via a computer with a camera and includes a proficiency score, video interview, and writing sample which will be shared with Loyalist College when you send your results.

Learn how to effectively apply accurate legal terminology and develop professional communication strategies, both orally and in writing.
Practise using electronic and print resources within the legal environment to assist with file and evidentiary management, facilitate communication, and generate legal documentation in compliance with current regulations and procedures.
Gain experience drafting legal documents and performing administrative duties required for the operation of various legal environments.
