Employment of RNs is expected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations through 2024. In fact, registered nurses are projected to generate approximately 711,900 new jobs, among the largest number of new jobs for any occupation. The national annual wage for registered nurses ranges from $47,150 – $102,990, with the median wage being $68,450, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
By partnering with Mercy College, students will have access to top clinical sites and practicing medical professionals, leading to great job opportunities as they will most likely be able to obtain positions within Mercy Health. Dual credentials allow students to demonstrate to future employers that they have the foundational knowledge of allied health sciences to support their practice as a nurse.
