The language of instruction at Alfred University is English.
All undergraduate international applicants are required to submit official scores from either the SAT, the ACT, TOEFL or IELTS examinations. If an international student has taken classes in a US University or college; they must apply as a transfer student, and we will review all English courses on the transcript(s) to show English proficiency.
Alfred University reserves the right to request undergraduate applicants to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores if their SAT or ACT scores are inconclusive.

A Fine Arts degree with disciplinary depth and multidisciplinary breadth
The School of Art and Design offers a four-year, professional degree program leading to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
