Admission Requirements

Entry requirements

  • A completed application form.

  • An official secondary school transcript or GED certificate.

    • The official final high school transcript, indicating proof of graduation must be submitted before a student is able to attend classes. 

  • Optional items:

    • An essay of 200 words or more on why you would like to earn a degree at Seton Hill. 

    • Letter of recommendation from a teacher or guidance counselor or one recommendation form. Additional recommendations are welcome and may represent other sources. 

    • Official score reports from either the SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or the ACT test (American College Testing Program). (Information about Test Optional alternative.)

  • A transcript evaluation from the World Education Services (WES).

  • Proof of English proficiency

English requirements

  • TOEFL score of at least 213 (computer-based), or 79-80 (Internet based).

  • IELTS score of 6.0.

  • Completion of 30 semester hours at a U.S. university.

  • Completion of an ESL program.

  • SAT score of at least a 470 on the critical reading section.

  • ACT composite score of 20 or higher.

  • Duolingo score of at least 100.
