Professional Outlook in Switzerland

Earn you first money with an internship!

Internships are an integral part of your B.H.M.S. hospitality education. They offer you a once in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain valuable experience in your field of study and are vital to your first management or supervisory position. If you are a culinarian and are completing a culinary internship, they will give you a chance to demonstrate your skills and creativity and help you develop more responsibility.

Gain work experience while learning

According to current agreements with various labor organizations in Switzerland, your minimum gross internship salary will be CHF 2'212. After certain charges for room and/or board and taxes that are deducted from this salary, a net amount somewhere between CHF 1'200 and CHF 1'400 should be expected.
