Completion of a Music Diploma or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B) and a minimum A- in specialized performance or academic area is required prior to applying to this degree program
Academic IELTS 6.5 (no band less than 6.0), or
TOEFL iBT 80 (Listening 20, Speaking 20, Reading 20, Writing 20)
The Bachelor of Applied Music is a full-time program. A combination of classroom instruction, lab activities, rehearsals, performances, work experience, and practicum are included in the program. Students enrolled in the degree program specialize in classical, world, or jazz and contemporary music. In each of the four terms, students enroll in either classical voice or performance concentration. In the first two terms, students enroll in either Conducting or Creative Music Improvisation.
