Qualification Requirements

Academic Program: 

A student who undertakes the Bachelor of Arts with Bachelor of Economics may count a maximum of 24 units towards both degrees, satisfying the requirements for the two degrees with a minimum total of 96 units (or 4 years) of study.

  1. Courses to the value of 48 units from the Bachelor of Arts including:

    1. One major to the value of 24 units (or 33 units for the Psychology major)

    2. Core course ARTS 1007 The Enquiring Mind or ARTS 1007OL The Enquiring Mind

    3. Electives courses up to 21 units

    4. Level I courses to the value of at least 12 units.

    5. Level II and Level III courses to the value of at least 36 units, including the 6 unit capstone for the chosen major.

  2. Courses to the value of 48 units from the Bachelor of Economics including:

    1. Level I courses to the value of 12 units

    2. Level II courses to the value of 12 units

    3. Level III courses to the value of 24 units

The requirement to complete a minor in the Faculty of Arts program, where applicable, is waived.
