Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

Australian Year 12 or equivalent; and

Be 18 years of age by the end of the first term;

English Requirement

Academic IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

Other Requirements

Applicants with Vocational Education and Training (VET) study

  • Successful completion of a vocational qualification (AQF Level 4 or equivalent); OR

  • Successful completion of one full year (1 EFTSL) of a Diploma (AQF Level 5 or equivalent) or above qualification.

Applicants with work and life experience

  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge gained through paid or unpaid employment, formal learning, and/or non-formal learning (presented on a current resume with attached cover letter).

Course Information

While studying the Bachelor of Business (International Hotel & Resort Management) course, you’ll live on-site for two terms at our Leura campus in the Blue Mountains, which operates as a student-staffed hotel. From guest relations, and front office management to food and beverage operations and housekeeping, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of day-to-day hotel operations. During the course, you will also gain practical experience through industry work placement programs and the final six months will focus on purely on business management.
