The Bachelor of Sport Business has been designed to develop students to work in the ever growing and competitive sports industry.
The course has four streams: sport management, commercial sport, sports media, and sport development. This ensures graduates will be able to work in a variety of roles including professional sport, sports leagues, sport consultancy, government sport agencies, sports venues and sports event companies.
The course offers significant internship opportunities where students work in sporting organisations. There is also significant industry engagement: guest speakers, field trips and the 228 hour internship with one of our sports organisation partners.
This degree facilitates real world industry opportunities for students, ensuring they learn more and do more and are prepared to achieve their career goals in the sports industry.

Course structure
Mode of study: Full-time, on-campus face-to-face delivery.
All new students commencing in a higher education course must attend their faculty course orientation and Holmesglen's higher education orientation.

Work placements/internships
In the third year of the degree students are required to undertake a 228 hour (six-week full-time equivalent) internship which provides experience to assist with a seamless transition into the workforce upon fulfilling the course requirements. We have some of Australia’s leading sports organisations as internship hosts including Melbourne Stars, AFL Victoria, Cricket Victoria and Basketball Victoria.
