Admission Requirements

Entry Requirements

The following documents are required for your application to be reviewed by the Admissions Committee:

  • Official secondary school transcript indicating courses completed with all grades

  • Official college transcript(s) from all previously attended universities (this is only required if you have attended college or taken college courses).

  • If necessary, have transcripts evaluated for foreign educational credential evaluation by a NACES Member Organization. Please note: SpanTran is our recommended international transcript evaluation service; they have a custom application that will make sure you select the correct type of evaluation at a discounted rate. 

  • Copy of your passport.

  • Bank Statement and Affidavit or financial guarantee. Your bank statement must show a minimum of $38,000 USD or the equivalent in your currency. 

English Requirements

Proof of English Proficiency. Minimum accepted scores include one of the following:

  • TOEFL (iBT 79)

  • IELTS score of 6

  • DuoLingo English Test score of 100

  • Pearson Test of English (PTEA) score of 53

Eastern’s Department of Communication fosters creativity and cooperative learning. Faculty use applied professional examples to teach in friendly interactive class environments. The recently renovated Communication Building offers state-of-the-art classrooms and equipment that provide students with hands-on experiences they need to land a job after graduation. A major and a minor are offered. Concentrations include Advertising, Media Writing & Journalism, Public Relations, Media Production and Leadership Communication.
