A Diploma of Media and Communication will give you a broad understanding of media in Australia and potentially lead to a wide range of roles involving professional communication skills. You will explore the cultural, social and political contexts of public communication processes and industries, institutional settings of international communication, and the way culture is expressed through media.
Once you complete the Diploma of Communication, opportunities include progression to the second year of the degree program in Media and/or Communication, or an entry level position in advertising, PR, media or communication organisations.
